Meet Our Partners: Agape International Missions

Lady Crew gets to fund anti-trafficking organizations worldwide and we’d love for you to meet them. They inspire us every day with their fearless work on the front lines of the fight against modern slavery.

The work of Agape International Missions (AIM) is far-reaching, transformational and holistic. It all started with the decision of Don and Bridget Brewster to give up their lives in California and move to Cambodia to tackle the sex trade head-on. Years later, the AIM model based on prevention, rescue, restoration and reintegration has proven to be incredibly effective.

Their approach to rescue is unique and powerful. AIM’s SWAT team, operating with permission of the Cambodian government, literally breaks down doors during raids, makes arrests, and transports victims to a safe location.

Once there, they begin the transformative process of restoration. Survivors can stay at residential aftercare facilities as long as they need, receiving everything necessary to thrive including meals, counseling and medical care. When they eventually leave, social workers will follow up with them for life.

For the best chance to reintegrate with society, AIM provides life skills training, educational opportunities and job placement. They even operate several factories and a shop that pay great wages with benefits and offer immediate employment. Many survivors have even joined the ranks of AIM helping to free others from the chains that once shackled them.

Visit our shop and read Phoebe’s amazing story of transformation. She’s just one of countless women who benefitted from the life-changing work of Agape International Missions. When you buy The Phoebe, 100% of the proceeds are given to AIM to further fund their critical work.
