Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! We’re a 501 c3 non-profit organization so all donations are 100% tax deductible.
For product or apparel purchases, you’ll receive a tax receipt based on the sale price less the cost to manufacture the item.
On the first of every month, we add up the previous month’s sales from each shirt. Whichever organization aided in the rescue and rehabilitation of the survivor it’s named after receives those sales. You can find the recipient organization in the description of each shirt.
We also regularly post the amounts we donate on our social media accounts, so follow @wearladycrew to get a more detailed breakdown of what we give.
The last thing we want to do is fund freedom for some while enslaving others. Please read our stance on ethical fashion.
There are awesome stories behind how we developed relationships with RestStop Ministries, Wipe Every Tear, A21, and Agape International Missions, but no space to tell them here!
We choose non-profit organizations that we have personal contacts with and that we know do amazing anti-trafficking work. We love to support both local and global efforts and our goal is to serve survivors everywhere from rescue all the way to rehabilitation and employment. We’re in the process of adding a fifth partner and can’t wait to tell you more about them!
Human trafficking represents the darkest evil in the world. It’s difficult to discuss. It’s too complex for the average person to do anything about.
Most believe there’s nothing they can do and that’s where the conversation ends.
Lady Crew was created to start conversation, spread awareness and multiply donations that rescue, rehabilitate and prevent further victimization. Lady Crew donors help in two ways:
- Buy a shirt, learn a survivor’s story, and share it whenever you wear it. 100% of the sale goes to end trafficking.
- Donate funds, and we will multiply them. We’ll use your donation to buy a product that we sell for two to three times more that spreads the word and gives the entire sale to anti-trafficking organizations. A $5, $10 or $50 donation may seem small, but we can turn that into $15, $30 or $150 together.
Our name reflects the reality that sex trafficking disproportionately affects women and girls. Our founder believes women have a powerful voice in advocating for their oppressed sisters; however, we welcome everyone to join the fight against human trafficking. Our power comes from our diversity.
